Manufacturing Climate
One of the many benefits of the Claremore area is its excellent manufacturing climate. Since 2003, over 1,000 new jobs have been created in Claremore. Over 600 of those jobs have come from companies choosing to locate in Claremore. Companies like AXH air-coolers, Caseco, Pelco Structural, and Pryer Machine and Tool have chosen Claremore for their business start-ups or expansions. More than 400 of the 1,000 new jobs created in the last three years have come from local companies with expanding businesses.

Manufacturing Growth
In addition to recruiting new businesses to the area, CIEDA also provides business retention and expansion tools for local companies. CIEDA’s Business Retention and Expansion Program emphasizes developing a quality business climate for Claremore businesses. Area economic growth largely depends on the growth of local companies and the continued development of a positive local business climate. In most communities around 70 percent of all new capital investment and job creation are generated from existing business growth. CIEDA serves the needs of existing businesses through facilitating an Executive Visit Program, a Claremore Area Manufacturers Roundtable, and an annual Claremore Area Economic Summit.

Claremore Area Manufacturers’ Roundtable
The Manufacturers’ Roundtable, created early in 2006, is an action-oriented, professional business organization committed to serving the unique needs of area manufacturers. The Roundtable is a quarterly forum for manufacturers to gain relevant industry information, experience networking opportunities and acquire assistance with the development of their businesses.
